Product Promotion Campaign

As a Marketing Specialist, I led a major credit card promotion targeting both current members and new customers. The goal was to increase card applications and usage by promoting a rewards system offering 3X points for gas and groceries, 2X points for restaurants and fast food, and 1X points for all other Michigan purchases. The campaign featured a basketball-themed headline and graphics, resonating with our brand due to our recent partnership with the Detroit Pistons. Utilizing emails, in-branch displays, and social media, I highlighted card benefits to encourage applications and increased card use. The promotion's success is reflected in significant engagement and results, including 11,154 webpage views, 6,498 unique webpage users, and nearly 200 new card applications submitted during the campaign.

Key Responsibilities and Achievements:

Campaign Planning and Execution:
  • Met with credit union lending leaders to determine the credit card promotion and provide marketing recommendations based on previous campaign data and industry research.

  • Developed and executed a comprehensive credit card promotion targeting both existing members and new customers.

  • Planned out the promotion, tracked progress, and coordinated with various team members and leaders through meetings, email, and Asana project management software.

  • Maintained communication and collaboration with all stakeholders to ensure timely completion and high-quality results.

Email Marketing:
  • Designed and implemented targeted email campaigns, sending emails to over 200,000 contacts segmented in lists.

  • Created compelling email content highlighting the benefits of the credit card, leading to increased awareness and conversions.

Content Creation and Design Coordination:
  • Worked closely with my graphic designer to share my campaign concept and ensure alignment with the visual content.

  • Developed engaging written content for emails, web pages, and social media posts.

Performance Metrics and Analysis:
  • Monitored the campaign's performance, tracking key metrics such as web page views and user engagement.
